**We HIGHLY recommend attending the Thursday PP. It will be the only time you can pick up your water balloons before race day and we WILL NOT have race day water balloon filling. If you wish to participate in the post run water fight you either need to attend the pickup at Academy on Thursday (and fill there or at home) or purchase and bring your own filled balloons!
**If you purchased a Sweet Jack deal make sure to bring your printed voucher and photo ID to packet pick up!

8:30-9:45am: Day of registration and packet pick-up
*Picking up your packet on the day of is totally cool but you need to bring your own filled balloons, all 25 of them, if you want to participate in the big water balloon fight.
10am: DRENCHED 5k
10:45am: Water war/festival and after party!

Get ready for a wild and fun after party with music, cool refreshments and a huge water balloon fight of course!!
*We are sorry to say US Airbag can no longer attend the event. All jumps pre-purchased have been refunded.
**REMEMBER to tell your non-runner friends that they can join our “water sniper” zone and help us to drench the runners for free!
**If Spectators want to join the post run festivities, they can purchase a water festival pass for only $20 pre-registration or for $30 day of the race. This gets you a tee, 25 balloons, a pair of sunglasses, drink and access to water fight and after party.

Important Information about the Water Balloon Fight:
Okay, you just ran 5k through the heat and amazingly refreshing Drenched Zones. Hopefully you aren’t hobbled from the slip and slide. Now for the after party! There are lot’s of fun activities to do at the after party including an epic Water Fight. Pay attention because if you don’t you may miss out of some fun!
- What is the water fight? The Drenched Water Fight is the biggest, wettest, most fun water fight most people will ever be a part of. Check this out for inspiration: http://youtu.be/3Cl3VEyseLc
- How do I get to participate? At packet pick up you will get 20 water balloons. Bring at least those 20 balloons and we will give you a wristband showing that you are in. If you want to bring more balloons, feel free, the wetter the better!
- Why do YOU have to fill them? No one wants to stand in a line while thousands of people fill their water balloons. Filling balloons at home and bringing them on race day prevents long boring lines. We need everyone’s help to make the water balloon fight as big as possible.
- Will there be anywhere to fill them on race day? NO, NOPE, NO WAY! You got us? We’ve done the math and we don’t want you to have to stand in the line on race day that would come from trying to accommodate race day filling. No filling on race day.
- Will there be filling on packet pick up? Yes, for most cities. We will give you an opportunity to hang out and fill balloons at packet pick up the day before events. (you can receive your wrist band here too) If a certain city won’t allow for filling, we will let you know!
- General balloon fight rules:
*No heads shots. It’s about fun not revenge so keep your aim low.
*No throwing outside the balloon fight area-there will be little kids and elderly watching so be nice.
